  • Where are you located?

    We are located in the lush Southern Appalachian Highlands Region of Northeast Tennessee in Erwin. Our outpost is along our namesake, the beautiful Nolichucky River, surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest.

  • Do you do custom classes and events in addition to your planned classes?

    Yes, contact us and we’ll be happy to set up a custom program tailored to you and your group.

  • Do I need experience to take a class?

    Most of our classes are suitable for all experience levels, including beginners. In some cases our more advanced classes do require previous experience and will be indicated under the class.

  • Do you provide all gear and equipment?

    We provide everything you need for the majority of our classes. In some cases, we do ask that you bring certain personal items and these are specified under each class.

  • How experienced are your instructors?

    All of our instructors are experts in their fields with years of experience and carry professional certification(s) where available. For more information click here.

  • Are there accommodations nearby?

    Yes, there are riverfront lodging and camping options available onsite and can be reserved directly with our partners.
